Michelle came to the Northwest in January
2002 for a series of internship interviews; fortunately one was
in Portland (left), so we got to do a little sightseeing while
she was here, including a trip to the Coast (center, right)

birthday in May 2002 (taken with my new digital camera, a Canon
G1) - after he'd lost his mustache and a good bit of weight, but
