Pyrenees puppies are adorable, loveable, charming little teddy bears in a coat of white fuzz. Hard to resist. But remember that this eight week old puppy will grow, and grow and grow! It is not a breed for everyone. Choose a puppy carefully from a reputable, experienced and knowledgable breeder who is bound by a code of ethics which requires in part that;
1. All breeding stock be clear of genetic problems including hip dysplasia.
2. Puppies and Parents be healthy, physically and temperamentally sound and honestly represented.
3. Written contracts and guarantees outlining what is expected and required of both breeder and puppy owner.
4. The goal of improvement, advancement, protection and perpetuation
of the true type of Great Pyrenees.
Never decide on impulse. Study and learn all you can about the breed so you will know if the Great Pyrenees is the breed for you.
