Text Box:                     Unique & Odd Plants   *Christmas Pepper (Capsicum annuum) (picture)- These very hot but edible pepper plants are decorative and unique and are only offered for Christmas unless requested.  We have two varieties one is small conical pepper plant with colors ranging from yellow to orange to red.  Our other variety is a rounded pepper and has colors as above plus purple! Please note not all Christmas Peppers are edible only the capsicum varieties! Limited quantities and these are seasonal!   *False Pine (Biophytum sesitivum) - These plants look like miniature pine trees but respond to touch or wind.  They will close up their leaves just like the sensitive plant below.   *Sensitive Plant (Mimosa pudica) - They look like miniature silk flower trees (Albizzia julibrissin) but they don't act the same way.  Any wind, water or a human touch will make them close their leaves up.  They are quite fun for kids but watch out for the small thorns on the stems!
