Rivercrest Treatment Center

WE CAN HELP YOU HELP YOURSELF!

Rivercrest considers Chemical Dependency a primary illness.  The disruptive problems occurring in the life of one suffering from Chemical Dependency are derived from, and secondary to, this illness.  Basically, Rivercrest believes this major illness can be diagnosed, treated and arrested through proven methods of therapy.  Rivercrest acknowledges that Chemical Dependency is a progressive disease, but we are no less committed to the principle that successful recovery from Chemical Dependency through total abstinence can be achieved.

Each patient of Rivercrest is treated with respect, concern, and professional care.  We can, and do, distinguish between patients with alcohol related problems only, and those patients diagnosed as poly-addicted. We deal with specific issues appropriate to each case.  Although no known cure exists, we believe a rigorous, dedicated continuing care program is most essential in arresting this killer disease.  We promote consistent patient follow-up and the vital support offered by Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Al-a-teen, and other self-help groups.
