In June, 1963, Dungeon Canyon was only a nondescript bay on the edge of Lake Powell.  The fortunate few who knew this exquisite gem of Glen will remember for life something lost that was very, very dear to them. 

Those who did not know the gem suffer a deprivation beyond comprehension. They can never remember, nor know, nor know anything comparable, these things lost.
