4. Paper Space Utilities
This program is my favorite, I have several versions of it. This is the latest version. Help is
still very simple, so it will work in R14. Program works in R14 as well as in R12/R13.
I will work on help part, so it will work better. Please check this routine again later.
Purpose of this program is to provide very easy way to use PSPACE by
setting dimscale (while in MSPACE) and just selecting lower left upper wright corners
around your detail. program will switch to PSPACE, just pick a point for lower corner of your
view and BINGO... done. You wil have vieport open vith properly scaled detail
(view name restored in that viewport) and a number like this 02-12 (block with attributes)
will appier in upper right corner. Using regular AutoCADD command DDATTE you can access
information programm stored in the block atributes, like view name and scale factor used for
the detail in MSPACE (if needed for manual reajustments), you can add some comments
for future use in space provided. 02-12 is a view name, program will automatically select next
available number for the view (03...04...) and add current scale factor (8...12...24...) so view name
will look like 03-8 or 04-48 and so on. To jump easy to desired view in model space use BB.LSP
Type BB at command prompt, program vil switch to paper space (if you are in MSPACE) then
pick view name in upper right corner of the desired viewport and that view and dimscale/ltscale
wil lbe restored in model space for editing.
