This rehabilitated gravel quarry has been
in development for at least 20years. The
ponds are home to a fairly stable population
of Western Pond Turtles. The west trail is
paved and the other parts well maintained
natural surface.
The area has good potential as a winter
sparrow spot and would benefit from
regular, systematic monitoring.
