Adding to a freeware DOS ethernet IPX network Home

Search for ipxcpy21.zip and download it. It's about 69K. It supports file transfer between any two machines. Once unzipped, you only need retain ipxcopy.exe on each machine if very pressed for space. For more directions, type ipxcopy -h. Type ipcopy on the recieving machine and ipxcopy (filename) on the transmitting machine. Transfer will begin immediatly and the transmitting machine will terminate when done, while the recieving machine will need to be terminated manually. (Control C). Ipxcopy also handles wild cards and recursed subdirectories. I transferred 30.4 megs of nested directories in 3 minutes 47 seconds, for about 134,000 bytes/sec. transfer rate.

Note: If you are using a Crynwr packet driver such as smc_wd
smc_wd -n 0x60 -o 3 0x280
If you don't have the -n switch set it will kill ipxcopy.
