Northern California Many Bengals from a Recent Breeder Dump
On 11.04.07, 11 Bengal kittens between the ages of 3-11 months were dumped by a breeder in the Sacramento area. We have 9 of these little sweeties, safe in foster homes. They will be put up on the site when pictures and information is sent to me. Bonded Pair of Melanistic Boys These two beauties are very bonded to each other and need to be rehomed together. They are ready to go to their forever home, are fully vetted, tested and neutered. We guestimate their age to be somewhere around 10 months old. They should not go to homes with young children. Melanistic Bengals are black Bengals with spots. They are like little black panthers. The foster mom was able to capture the spots in one of her photographs. The foster mom has this to say about the boys: ”The boys are very sweet. I am calling them "Champ" and "Bailey". Champ is the larger one and semi overweight... especially for a Bengal. And Bailey is much leaner. They are both very sweet boys. Rolling over and rubbing all over me. For behavior the only thing I see at the moment is they're not sure when you try to pick them up. I will sit down and do mock pick ups and neither of them seem to like it but they don't really do much to me when I do. They haven't scratched or anything but they both wiggle and pull up their back feet like they're going to use them to get out. So probably families with young kids like my daughter that always tries to pick up cats might not be the best of homes. I will try more with them and see how they progress. They both get in my lap though and roll around wanting their bellies rubbed. Both are good natured. Bailey is long and much leaner. More reserved at first but will come out and play after Champ comes out first. It doesn't take much to get him to come over and get loved on though. His coat isn't as plush but I'm sure people won't mind. Its obvious they're litter mates so it would be great if they could be homed together since they're so sweet with each other. Also they are settling in very easily and quickly. Using the litter box with no problems too. In the pictures I tried to get one up close too so you can see their coats for people that haven't seen a melanistic bengal. Its hard to see their spots but they are there." Gata is a sweet 4 year old spayed girl in need of a loving home. This tiny 5 pound girl with beautiful eyes and luxurious fur is very affectionate and loves to sit in laps for hours. Southern California Chloe & Sandy 2 Bonded Spayed Girls Need a New Home ASAP!
These lovely girls are a bonded pair and must be rehomed together. They are between 3-4 years of age, are fully vetted and are very affectionate. Chloe is the spotted/striped girl and may be a Toyger. Both of these girls came from Millwood Bengals. Unfortunately they need to find a new home because their mom is now the caretaker for a special needs baby and doesn't feel she is spending the time with the two girls that they deserve. Their mom has this to say about them "I think they are three or four years old. I have all the papers from the vet. they are up to date on shots. both female. and have their claws. only indoors. likes people. they have never been around a dog. they like their scratch poles and not the furniture. Likes to lay on your lap. follows you around like a dog would. like strangers. might be more shy or afraid of men at first. Chloe got stepped on by a deliverer man. so she never forgot that. I very sad to have to let them go. I was alone for so long and they are very close to me. I just feel I 'm not giving them the attention they need anymore. I'm so busy with the baby now. Southern California Hobbes 5 Year Old Neutered & Declawed Needs a New Home ASAP!
Hobbes is a beautiful papered boy in need of a new home ASAP. Hobbes, an F4 Bengal, is approximately 5 years old, de-clawed in the front. He gets along well with some cats, depending on the personalities of the cats. He should not be rehomed where there are young children and he does not get along with dogs at all. Hobbes is also very vocal, something to consider, if you live in an apartment situation. He is up to date on all of his shots and vaccines. He needs a loving home where his sweet personality can blossom. He is affectionate and loves being pet but dislikes being held. Hobbes is up-to-date on vaccines and has been vet checked. He gets along with most other cats, but only when introduced properly and slowly. Hobbes does not like dogs and should not be around children under the age of 8. Southern California Mom and Kittens
In November we rescued a litter of kittens along with their mom. The kittens were born on September 22nd, mom is about 5 years old. The mom has been named Cheetah Lee, and she is very bonded to her daughter Baby Blue, a blue spotted Bengal. Cheetah Lee and Baby Blue need to be rehomed together. The foster mom has this to say about the little family:Cheetah Lee is a very sweet girl, but needs to be in a very calm living situation. She can get a bit stressed out if there is a commotion. She loves to purr and cuddle, and even puts up with my constant kissing of her face. Baby girl - I call her Baby Blue, as she is a blue spotted. Miss Blue is a little more reserved than her brothers, but very sweet. She is really bonded to her mom, and needs to be rehomed with Cheetah. She will tolerate me to pick her up and give her kisses (this is something all my animals have to deal with). She is very playful, and will also cuddle with me and her family on my bed at night. They both have learned that when I come in the room, it means they get lots of kisses, and they are learning to tolerate them well. These babies are just absolutely wonderful, and would make a wonderful addition to the right family. Sweet, playful, very intelligent, great users of the litter box! The first two pictured are Cheetah Lee the mother and Ms. Baby Blue. Kittens and mom will be fixed before rehoming. They are FIV/FELV negative and up to date on their vaccinations.
