New construction of downtown mixed-use complex, including 9-story
post-tensioned concrete tower with exterior skin of brick, concrete
and composite window and panel system, developed in conjunction
with the Portland Development Commission. Phase one includes
59
condominium units, ground floor retail space and parking. Units
range from two-level “townhouses” to one bedroom.
As Construction
Manager/General Contractor for this design assist project, LCG Pence Construction, LLC’s scope included extensive design review, budgeting
and value engineering, aligning project program to developer’s
budget. Urban infill site on MAX light rail line required effective
construction staging and protocols to minimize project impact
on surrounding community.
