The
Center for Outpatient Medicine
The
Center for Outpatient Medicine is located across the street from
Salem Hospital and is connected to the hospital and parking structure
by two Skybridges. Construction began in 1997 and the expansion
was completed in 2001.
The
project also included an 800-car parking structure with an eighth-level
heli-stop with high-speed elevator access.
The
Center expands Salem Hospital’s ability to treat the diverse
needs of a growing community.
The
waiting areas and public spaces of The Center for Outpatient
Medicine
incorporate an extensive use of glass and lighting effects. This
combination offers a comfortable and expansive open-air feeling
that greets patients and visitors alike.
The
fifth floor of The Center houses Café Five which serves
the dining needs of patients, staff and visitors.
