Construction
at Hermiston High School includes a 190,000 sf new single- and
two-story addition which was then tied into the remodeled 60,000
SF wing. New construction consisted of a gym, locker rooms, weight
room wood & metal shop/classrooms, computer lab, video/dark
room, band and choir room with practice rooms as well as biology,
science, chemistory.
The commons
area, the core space of the school, has 40-foot ceilings with
a clerestory on the southern exposure.
