Female (Lynx) with more than one male ?

I have a question for all of you who have experience in breeding C. Lynx. My question is concerning the successful pairing of these cats. Here's a theoretical situation: two pairs of C. Lynx who have been paired and are proven breeders arrive. You want to reintroduce the females to a different male, with the hopes that they will breed. How successful can this be? Are they going to pine for their prior mate? Will they accept the new mate if introduced appropriately? Any information at all that might pertain to the above scenario would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jill Rose

What you want is possible.....there is only one thing you have to do. Never let the female go to the male.... In the wild, the male goes to the female territorium .. Wait till the female is ..damn...how do you say that...(ready?) and then 2 days after being ready let the male visit her. But be carefull, he can still attack her ...so keep the water in your neighbourhood to seperate them. Waht you can do too....is ....so now and then changing them from cage , he in hers and her in his.....you even avoid them being a circus animal then.(dont know the right word), but i think you know what i mean.
