Bottle feeding and teaching to Potty

I would like to talk with parents who are currently caring for young kittens. Could you tell me more about bottle feeding, and stimulating kitten to potty?

For very young kits, a couple of days old, the best way ( I have found) is to wipe/rub their bottoms with a warm wet towel, it's kinda like the mother licking them to stimulate them to use the bathroom. It has worked well for me. Lynne

Using a warm wet washcloth works well, just be sure that once the cub starts going potty that you do not continue to rub it's little bottom. Otherwise you could cause it to get raw. As they get older and start to push, this is a good thing, helps build their muscles. If they have to push more than they should, then stimulate just until they start going.
