| _ Days of Evolution: The Days of Evolution as defined by the Secret Doctrine indicates our Universe in the whole of its evolution, is awakened and sleeps seven times. This composes One Cosmic Day. Within the One Cosmic Day are seven lesser Days, which in turn are broken into Seven Revolutions of activity and rest. Three of the lesser Days have been completed and we presently are about midway in the Fourth Day. The Seven Lesser Days are called Periods. We are currently in the Earth Period. The next one is the Jupiter Period. In this next Day, our present animals will become humanity, and mankind will enter the next Kingdom above. Desire Body: Fourth body in consciousness, (down from the Monad). The final Body on the Plane of Reality, above Illusion. It is the top connecting point of the Bridge, to Maya, egoic living. Some schools of thought refer to the Desire Body as the Astral Form. Shustah gives astral form to the gold, egoic level, egoic soul. The Desire Body is a relay between Higher Forces, and the lower conscious bodies. Color of the Desire Body is bright green. Deva: Eastern word for angels. There are legions of devas. Some devas are native to earth, with myriads of devas elsewhere in the Universe. Some devas can and do incarnate in physical bodies on earth. A deva is heart centered, as versus humans, who are head centered. Devas are intuitive, knowing perfectly one octave of pure energy. Devas send energy forth, they operate with causation. Devas are winged beings, humans are non-winged. Messengers: Another word for deva, is angel, or being of the Angelic Kingdom, which is of an older evolution than the Human Kingdom. Devas are a distinct and different "stream of consciousness" than human beings. Devas in their evolution did not drop as deeply as the human evolution, that is, into gross matter. Therefore, in their home kingdom, devas do not have physical bodies. When a deva incarnates on earth, it begins to take on a physical body for the first time. They begin to operate and function in a new, and seemingly very limited dimension. All devas are what is termed: winged beings. Their wings are two streams of energy, very similar to the pictures one sees of angels in religious paintings. Human beings are members of the non-winged evolution.
