- 2½ cups flour
- 2 tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 tbsp. powdered alum
- 1½ cups boiling water
- ½ cup salt
Be sure water is boiling when poured over other ingredients. Food coloring may be added to the water first. Stir. Cool slightly. Knead on wax paper. Store in covered contained. Powdered alum may be purchased in any drug store.
