CCCHD Volunteer Auxiliary

The Auxiliary was founded in 1990 to help with several services for senior residents.  Currently, the auxiliary

raises funds twice per year: in the Spring with a ‘Gently Used’ sale, and in December with a Bazaar / Gently Used sale.  The funds go toward providing our residents with sight seeing bus trips around the community; bingo prizes; trips to the beauty / barber shop; birthday and seasonal holiday parties; arts & craft supplies; as well as entertainment. 

The Auxiliary meets once per month – the fourth Tuesday of the month – September through June.  Membership in the Auxiliary is open to anyone who is interested in advancing the mission of CCCHD.  A choice of membership (Active, Associate or Resident) is available to accommodate ways in which members can contribute.

Active
• Contributes regular hours of service
• Pays annual dues of $10.00
• Has voting privileges
• Is eligible to hold elected office                  

Associate
• Contributes optional hours of service
• Pays annual dues of $10.00
• Has no voting privileges
• Is not eligible to hold elected office

Resident
• Participates in regular meetings and activities
• Pays no dues
• Has voting privileges
• Is eligible to hold elected office

• Is a resident at Clatsop Care Center or Clatsop Retirement village

The money collected for dues is used for the Auxiliary's administrative costs, such as printing and mailing of the newsletters and fliers announcing activities and projects, and the Council of Hospital Auxiliaries dues.
