Administrator Allison Sansom, RN BSN, NHA
Allison has is responsible for the total operation of Clatsop Care Center. She manages coordination of services from the different departments that serve the staff and residents needs. Allison was the administrator for Clatsop Retirement Village for 4 years.  Her office is now at Clatsop Care Center room 412.

 

Director of Nursing Services; Erik Jensen MSN, RN

Erik oversees the staff and nursing care for skilled and intermediate care residents on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th  floors.  Erik has over 30 years of healthcare experience including ambulatory and acute care.  His office is located at Clatsop Care Center room 308.

Resident Care Manager, Joan Hansen, LPN and Heather Stratton, RN
Both Nurses are responsible for resident assessments, care plans, and coordinating resident care and admissions with all departments. Their office is located on the third floor next to the nursing station, room 405. At Clatsop Care Center.

Charge Nurse
Each shift has an assigned Charge Nurse. In the absence of other department heads, the Charge Nurse has the responsibility for total operations within the facility. The Charge Nurse oversees all aspects of resident care and nursing employee supervision.

CNA Training Director Kathy Wigutoff

 Teaches and oversees the certification of skilled nursing staff to become Certified Nursing Assistants. Her office is on the 2nd floor room 211.

 

CNA's

Hard work in a sometimes fast paced environment. The staff members who fill these positions are the core of patient care operations. Whether they have been working here 10 years or 2 months all are very much appreciated for their caring diligent effort.

Physical Therapy Department
There is a wide range of services available including Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. We have therapy services available 5 days a week for our residents. The therapy dept. is in the south wing of the second floor in room 228.

Clinical Records Jenny Gildner
An employee for more than 8 years, Jenny maintains all Clinical Records, coordinates Physician visits, writes discharge summaries, conducts routine audits of Clinical Records.  Her office is located on the second floor, room 208.

Business Office Manager  Heidi Roberts

Heidi has been with the Health District since 2000. Originally at the Clatsop Bridges location in medical  records she has filled a variety of positions. She has been in her current position of Business Office Manager since June 2007. Her office is room 210 on the 2nd floor.

 

Social Services Directors, Jerry Olson & Shelly Daulton
With experience in geriatric social work, both have the responsibility for the psychosocial well-being of our residents. Jerry and Shelly's office is located on the 2nd floor, room 212.

 

Activities Director Bonnie Murphy works with the residents at Clatsop Care Center since 2002 providing interesting programs and activities as well as outings on the districts bus, trips to the local shopping mall as well as site seeing and eating out. Her office is on 4th floor.

 

Dietary Supervisor Beverly Hilferty
Our Dietary Department provides excellent meals and nourishment for our residents and Bev is responsible for managing the daily operations and staff in this department. Bev started as a Kitchen Aide in 1985. Her office is located in the Dietary Department on the first floor and she works weekdays between 6:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

 

District Maintenance Director Roger Sansom
An employee since 2003,  Roger  has the responsibility for the internal and external plant operations, maintenance, laundry and housekeeping services and care of the grounds. He also coordinates our Fire, Disaster and Safety plans. Roger's office is located on the first floor, room 111.

 

Computer Tech Michael Kerwin 

Mike started as a Certified Nursing Assistant in January 1998. He has filled a variety of positions since that time. Currently he manages all computer systems, website, and phone systems for the Health District.

His office is in room 204 at the 16th Street location.

 

Volunteer Coordinator Mandy Brenchley

Mandy joined Clatsop Care Center in January 2006 to help recruit volunteers and boost resident activities.  She has worked over six years in the non-profit sector with experience in volunteer recruitment, fund development, and community relations.  Her office is located on the second floor in room 201.      volunteer@clatsopcare.org

 Front Desk Manager
Bev Crosby can be found at the front desk located at the second floor entrance at our 16th Street location and is available to answer your inquiries or direct you to appropriate personnel.
