OBJECTIVES

* To ensure that short and long-term care residents are valued, respected, listened to and receive appropriate and required care.
* To ensure that staff and volunteers have the necessary skills and training to maintain standards of care.
* To ensure the Health District is informed of, prepared for and in position to effectively meet Community Long Term Care needs.
* To ensure that resources are available to meet the goals and objectives of the Health District.
* To assure the safety and well-being of our residents, staff and visitors.
