Here are students from a CNA class in 2006 offered at Clatsop Care Center.
Becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant is a rewarding satisfying career experience.
The class is limited to 10 students. Summer classes are especially popular and fill up quickly. The class is 9 weeks long with 179 hours of training. Each student gains skills, under the supervision of our CNA instructor Kathy Wigutoff.
The hours for the 6 weeks of textbook and lab studies are 9:00AM till 3:30PM. Tuesday through Thursday.
Then clinical training begins. Students assist the certified nursing assistants with resident care, for 3 weeks, Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00AM to 2:30PM.
