PONY CART

Satisfied customer Chris Maier had Bob Graham build her cart so that daughters Jessie and Hannah, age 6 and 8, could join her and their pony, Misty (45 inches tall) on drives in the country. Bob made a bench seat wide enough for the three of them. They stow lunch, rain gear and other supplies under the seat. Because of the innovative foot brake system, Chris is comfortable allowing Hannah to learn to drive by herself in the arena. "Comfort and safety were of prime importance. Bob measured Misty to assure that the cart would fit her build, and an adjustable custom harness adjustable was made to accomodate their smaller shetland (40 inches), too. The shafts also adjust to accomodate each pony."

Chris reports that "In June, I drove Misty in our first parade, Portland's Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade. After standing around for almost 5 hours, Misty was really ready to go. Thanks to Bob's super braking system, we safely made it through the parade. Without them, it would have been a disaster!" By the way, they earned a third place ribbon.
