Possible Costa's Hummingbird  (imm. female  ?)

This hummingbird has been visiting Eric & Tammy's back yard this winter. They debated over it's identify and called Wilson Cady this weekend who went to check out the bird. He believed it to be a Costa's and called us
(Arden & Sherry Hagen) to check it out. We too believed it to be a female Costa's Hummingbird, mostly likely an immature one.

We all appreciate any expert advise on the I.D. of this bird.

The bird is at:
4110 NE 54th Ave.
Vancouver, WA  Clark Co.

Eric and Tammy are open to birders viewing this bird while standing on their lawn. The bird visits the hummingbird feeder over the deck (seen from 54th Ave.) It also sits in the trees between the feeder and the street (bird is seen from the yard). Please park on 41st St. off the main road.

Short tail with white tip
Wings almost reaching end of tail
Plump, roundish body and head
Slightly decurved bill

See photo and information in Peterson's Guide to Hummingbirds of North American page 58-59 on the immature female.
