Lightweight. Clee really brought nothing new to the time travel/alternate worlds subgenre. Kept me reading till the end, though... she can at least string a story together, although I had a hard time with some of the anachronisms of language and technology she introduced for 1962. Her curious focus on nuclear war as the sole threat to humanity's survival as a whole seems at best outdated, as well. I did, however, find myself enjoying Clee's charming cynicism about our own era, and while I thought her choices of branch points were in some cases questionable, I was willing to go along with them for the ride.
