List of Books Recommended by Group Members

This is a partial list of books recommended by group members. It is, by no means, complete. After the initial list of books, go to the second page for more information about some of the books from book jackets, forewards, etc. This list is very much under construction; please feel free to send information about other books or more information about those listed here.

Please print this page to take with you to the library or the bookstore for ordering information. Wherever possible, the ISBN has been included.

While most of the books on this list are suicide specific, there are a few that offer general support. It is our intention to provide a list of books which will give you a good selection to read and refer to for support as you travel this painful road of grief and through the process of finding the pieces of your life.

The first one on this list I highly recommend (especially as a first book) because of its simplicity and thoroughness.
